Step 1 – Initial Visit

Our first visit to you is complimentary, of course.

We’ll learn about your business, the issues that are critical to you, the infrastructure model that you
have and the level of support you’ll need.  This will also give you an opportunity to meet us and hear
about our staff, clients and their success stories.

Step 2 – IT Assessment

If you decide that managed services is right for your company, the usual second step is to retain us
on a project basis to conduct a short, but important, IT assessment.  This usually takes a total of 2
to 3 days over an elapsed time of one to two weeks. We’ll inventory your current IT infrastructure,
end user environment, support needs, remote connectivity needs and back up / disaster recovery
requirements.

This may yield a gap between what you have in place, and what we think you should have.  In our
report, we’ll outline the hardware, software and services to bring your environment up to speed.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”79″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

Step 3 – On-Ramping to Managed Services

Once your IT architecture and environment is current, we’ll know the level of IT managed services suited to your needs.

Upon signing, we’ll:

  • Install licenses for the support tools that you’ll need, including node monitoring, help desk licenses and remote support tools.
  • Ramp you up… this will involve having our Operations Manager come to your site and show all your users how to ask for support. We’ll also introduce you to your support team – each Managed Service client of Starport is assigned two staff; a prime and a second.  These pros will be there when help is needed, patches have to be installed… whatever the need.

Step 4 – Ongoing

On an ongoing basis, we will:

  • Watch over your systems, apply patches and updates, install and configure devices and resolve user issues, coming on site, or securely connecting over the internet.
  • Track all our activities and meet with you as frequently as you wish to review your on-going needs and use of IT services.
  • Keep you up to date about new technologies if they could be helpful or relevant.
  • Help you know where and how you are using your time, so you can play a role in minimizing the use of IT managed services.
  • Coordinate new equipment purchases, delivery and configuration.
