Starport assigns a dedicated project team and builds a tailored onboarding plan before any work begins. A lightweight management agent is installed on each device, remotely or onsite, typically in under 10 minutes per device with no user downtime. Starport also coordinates directly with any outgoing IT provider to ensure a complete and smooth transition.
Employees receive unlimited access to Starport's help desk for day-to-day IT issues. Support is available by phone and email during business hours, with remote resolution as the first approach and onsite assistance when required. There are no per-ticket fees and no billable-minute billing.
Starport's service level objective is a one-hour response during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET). Average actual response time is approximately 15 minutes.
Starport Managed IT Services includes unlimited help desk support, 24/7 device monitoring, endpoint security, automated patch management, and employee onboarding and offboarding. Hardware purchases, Microsoft licensing fees, and project-based work such as office relocations or major migrations are scoped and quoted separately before any work proceeds.
Yes. Starport Managed IT Services are designed for distributed workforces. Devices are monitored, secured, patched, and supported regardless of whether employees are working from a Toronto office, a home in Prince Edward Island, or anywhere else in Canada. Remote support is the default. Onsite visits are available when needed.
Yes. Both are included in Managed IT Services at no additional charge. For new hires, Starport prepares the device, configures user accounts, installs security tools, and sets up email access. For departing employees, Starport disables access, secures company data, and reclaims the device.
